My interest and motivation as a creator started with a fascination for the amount of different stories you could tell with film, animation and still images. At present moment I am interested in cultural imagery that has strong connections to specific emotions about belonging. For example Persian rugs, how they create a sense of home or how a lot of brutalistic architecture can create a sense of oppression and grandness in eastern europe to more western eyes. My current motivation is highlighting culture and create conversations about belonging and cultural identity as well as what kind of ownership groups can claim.
